Dear Waverly Families,

 

Our school has been certified by the National PTA as a Parent Involvement School of Excellence!  This certification recognizes that our school upholds the highest standards in parent involvement.  Now is your opportunity to help us continue to achieve this excellence in the 2011-12 school year.  We need volunteers to help enhance the programs at our school.  No matter how large or small the job may be, we need you!  Please consider this your personal invitation to join in.

 

Attached is information that will help you to become as involved in Waverly PTA activites as you can.  Separate forms will be coming home from the classroom teachers and special area teachers with volunteering opportunities.

 

Please do not hesitate to call one of us if you have any questions about volunteering.  You will also have the opportunity to have your questions answered at the VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION which will take place in September.  Watch for date and time to be announced.  Thank you for making a difference at Waverly.

_____Holiday Shoppe(December 6, 2011; cashiers, help children shop)

_____Hospitality(cooking/baking for conferences in November and February, luncheons, etc.)

______Kindergarten Registration(half- or whole days; February 27 – March 2, 2012)

_____Special Ed volunteers needed for at home work(cutting, laminating, etc.)

_____Media volunteers to shelve books.  Please circle preferences:

_____Paw Print Prize Redemption: help redeem Pawprints for prizes during lunch shifts (11:20am-1:45pm) every other Wednesday.  Volunteers can sign up for one lunch shift or as many as you are available.
